£15,000 was donated in April 2025 to Tapping House, a hospice in Norfolk known as a centre of clinical excellence educating staff to remain at the forefront of care. They are also an education centre for palliative care for the Norfolk and Norwich and the Queen Elizabeth Hospitals, GP’s, community teams and care homes.
The donation supported Tapping House to deliver compassionate, dynamic and proactive end of life care to 6,000 individuals over 12 months.
Who has Tapping House supported?
During the 9 months to the end of Dec 2025 the hospice supported:
- 101 inpatients admitted to their IPU with an additional 116 referred for telephone support.
- 221 people via the Hospice at Home Service, and a further 659 via the Rapid Response Service.
- 93 people via Bereavement and Pastoral care services.
All patients were supported to live well, die well and never alone.

Tapping House has recently launched a children’s pre and post bereavement service to tailor support specifically for a child experiencing the loss of a loved one.
