Open for applications from projects working with young people

Following a successful closed grant application round earlier this year, where we distributed £200,000 between 12 charities, we are delighted to announce our first open grant application round. This round is for voluntary organisations that work with young people aged 0-25, and will see a further £500,000 of funding distributed. We are open for applications from Monday 16 June (9am) – Friday 27 June (5pm).

There is a two week window to apply

We will open for 2 weeks. To give everyone a fair chance, regardless of the volume of applications, we will stay open until 5pm on Friday 27 June. We are an extremely small team and have designed a process that is as administratively manageable as possible.

This grant round is only for projects that support young people

Many of you voted in a poll we created earlier this year asking which of the six areas we support align most closely with your work. The theme around young people received the highest volume of votes. This is why our first open grant round focuses on projects that work with young people to improve health and wellbeing. You can read more about eligibility in our frequently asked questions.

Our application process will be open from Monday 16 June (9am) – Friday 27 June (5pm)

We are giving out £500K in this round and anticipate we will award between 20 and 30 grants. You can only apply through the online application form. Before starting the form please take our eligibility quiz to make sure that you are eligible. We plan other funding rounds this year, so if you are not eligible this time, there will be other opportunities.

Good luck!
